These Terms & Conditions  govern your use of furqanic.com and any enrolment in our courses, free assessments, or related services

Agreement to These Terms

By browsing our website, submitting an admission or contact form, booking a free assessment, or enrolling a student in our programmes, you (the parent, guardian, or adult student) confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and to our [Privacy Policy](/privacy-policy). If you do not agree, please do not use our Services.

Where you are enrolling a child under 18, you confirm that you are that child’s parent or legal guardian and that you are entering into this agreement on their behalf.

Enrolling a Student

Who May Enrol:

Enrolment, admission forms, and all account communications must be completed by a parent or legal guardian on behalf of any student under 18. Adult students (18+) may enrol on their own behalf.

Accuracy of Information

You agree to provide accurate, current information about the student (name, age, gender, contact details, and learning preferences) so we can assign an appropriate teacher and curriculum. Please tell us promptly if any of this information changes.

Free Assessment

We offer a complimentary assessment session for new students to evaluate current ability and recommend a suitable learning plan. The format and length of the free assessment (including any promotional “3-day” assessment period) will be confirmed to you at the time of booking and may vary by promotion or region.

The free assessment carries no obligation to enrol. We may modify, limit, or withdraw this offer at any time, including for specific regions or campaigns.

Subscription & Renewal

Paid plans renew automatically each billing period unless cancelled in advance. You can cancel future renewals at any time by notifying us via WhatsApp or email at least 5 days before your next billing date; cancellation stops future charges and does not automatically entitle you to a refund of the current billing period

Your Right to Cancel (Cooling-Off Period)

If you are a consumer based in the United Kingdom or another jurisdiction with equivalent distance-selling protections, you generally have the right to cancel your enrolment within **14 days** of first payment, without giving a reason, for a full refund

If, with your express request, classes begin before the 14-day period ends, we may deduct a fair amount for the classes already delivered from any refund due. This right does not affect your separate right to cancel future renewals at any time

Refunds Outside the Cooling-Off Period

Outside the 14-day cooling-off period, fees for classes already delivered are non-refundable. Refund requests relating to undelivered classes (for example, due to extended teacher unavailability on our part) are considered case-by-case — contact us and we will respond within 5 working days.

Late Payment

If payment is not received by the due date, we may pause upcoming classes until payment is made. We will notify you before doing so wherever possible.

Scheduling & Attendance

Please join classes on time and ensure a stable internet connection and a suitable device.
– If a student cannot attend, please notify us in advance via WhatsApp or your Parent Portal wherever possible.
– Missed classes without reasonable advance notice may not be eligible for a replacement session, in line with our scheduling policy communicated to you at enrolment.
– We aim to accommodate reasonable rescheduling requests but cannot guarantee a specific replacement slot.

Teacher Assignment & Changes

We assign teachers based on the student’s age, level, language preference, and gender preference (male, female, or no preference) where stated at enrolment. We may change a student’s assigned teacher where necessary — for example, for scheduling reasons, teacher availability, or to maintain educational quality — and will inform you when this happens.

Code of Conduct

Students and parents/guardians agree to:

  •  Treat teachers and staff with respect and courtesy.
  • Use the learning platform only for its intended educational purpose.
  • Not record, photograph, or share class sessions without our prior written consent, except where a session is provided to you through the Parent Portal for your own family’s private use.
  • Not contact teachers through personal channels outside the platforms and communication methods we provide.

We may suspend or end access to Services for serious or repeated breaches of this Code of Conduct, particularly where student safety is a concern.

Safeguarding & Child Protection

The safety of every child in our care is our highest priority.

– All classes are conducted live and one-to-one through our approved platform; we do not permit private, off-platform contact between tutors and students.
– We take reasonable steps to screen and reference-check tutors before they are permitted to teach, and we review conduct concerns raised by parents.
– For younger children, we recommend a parent or responsible adult remain reasonably nearby or reachable during lessons, particularly during the first few sessions with a new teacher.
– If you have any safeguarding concern about a class, teacher, or interaction, please contact us immediately at **admin@furqanic.com** or via WhatsApp, and we will investigate promptly and confidentially. Serious concerns may also need to be reported to the appropriate authorities in your country of residence.

Class Recording, Logs & the Parent Portal

Where our Parent Portal displays attendance records, lesson logs, or progress/Tajweed scorecards, this information is generated by teacher session notes rather than continuous audio-visual recording, unless we tell you otherwise for a specific programme. If any class recording is introduced for quality, training, or dispute-resolution purposes, we will notify parents/guardians in advance and handle recordings in line with our Privacy Policy

Intellectual Property

All educational materials, lesson plans, worksheets, curricula, videos, logos, branding, dashboard software, and website content are the intellectual property of Al Furqan Online Education, unless otherwise stated. You may use materials provided to you for your own family’s personal, non-commercial learning purposes only. Copying, recording, redistributing, or commercially exploiting our materials without written permission is prohibited.

Communication Channels, Including WhatsApp

WhatsApp is one of our primary channels for scheduling, support, and updates. WhatsApp messages are processed through Meta’s WhatsApp Business infrastructure — see our Privacy Policy for details on how this data is handled. WhatsApp is not a guaranteed or monitored 24/7 emergency channel; for anything urgent relating to student safety, please also email us directly.

Service Availability & Limitation of Liability

We work to provide reliable, high-quality live teaching, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted service and are not responsible for disruption caused by internet outages, device issues, third-party platform downtime, or other circumstances reasonably beyond our control. Where a class is disrupted for reasons within our control, we will offer a reasonable make-up session

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law.

We do not guarantee specific learning outcomes or timeframes (for example, fluency, memorisation speed, or exam results), as these depend on individual student effort, consistency, and ability.

Complaints

If you’re unhappy with any aspect of our Services, please contact us at **admin@furqanic.com** with details. We aim to acknowledge complaints within 2 working days and resolve them within 10 working days. If you remain unsatisfied, you may escalate the matter as set out

Privacy

Our collection and use of your personal information, including via cookies, the Meta Pixel, WhatsApp, and our admission forms, is described in our [Privacy Policy](/privacy-policy), which forms part of these Terms.

Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. This does not remove any mandatory consumer protection rights you are entitled to under the law of your own country of residence, which continue to apply alongside these Terms. Any dispute that cannot be resolved through our complaints process may be brought before the courts of England and Wales, or the courts of your country of residence where mandatory local law gives you that right.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our Services or legal requirements. The current version will always be available on this page, and we will update the “Last Updated” date above. Continued use of our Services after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
